Played for Southend and Col Ewe XI

Nectar points is probably the only Southend Season Ticket holder to play for Col U though (albeit the reserves)

Not sure Kirk Game ever got a game(!) for us. He was an apprentice who was released and ended up playing no more than about 20 games for the Ewes.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned him - Dave Martin - ( from the mid 80's /90's ) - I think he played in the FA trophy for the Ewes.

Sorry about that I knew we signed Kirk from Southend but didn't realise he never played a 1st team game for you, I think he was a local lad.

Local-played for Monarchs Sports,then us(early 60s -23goals),then Millwall as a defender in the team that had a famously long unbeaten home run,finally at the pigs-another 23 goals.

Think there was a defender in about 2000 who went on loan to Colu. Dave Regis is the name that keeps coming into my head?

I remember Ken playing for us late sixties/early 70's.

He was great for us and has signed a new 2 year deal, our win ratio last year was only 5% when he didn't play and over 42% when he did, I know we had a very poor season last year but these figures are still impressive.

I was trying to work out who you meant there Eddy I forgot all about Dublin mind you I think he only played a couple of times for us.

Peter Bullock played 12 games, 2 goals for Southend United between February - October 1965 before being transferred to Colchester where his record was as follows 94 games, 1 sub, 33 goals. Southend got him from Birmingham City where he had a younger brother Micky playing.
