A rare Saturday without a game gives me a chance to catch up with the players who were released in the summer.

Championship

Moussa, Mildenhall and Barrett are all on the bench.

League One

Francis and McCormack are both playing for Charlton who are losing 3-0. They are the only two players to have been booked.
Scannell is on the bench for the Daggers.
Calver and Reynolds didn't make the Yeovil and Daggers squads.

Laurent, JFC and Sankofa appear to still be without a club

According to a Sky Sports commentator at the game Macca was lucky to stay on the pitch though after one of his famous tackles.

The very tackles that the commentators during the recent Orient/Charlton game described as "showing passion"! ;)

Duran Reynolds is on loan at Grays, hence why he's not appearing in Dagenham's squad.

GK Mildenhall - sub keeper for mid-table Championship Millwall
RB Francis - starting for mid-table Charlton in League One
LB - didn't have one
CB Barrett - unused sub for struggling Championship Palace
CB - didn't have one
RM Grant - starring in League 2 in a central midfield role
CM McCormack - dropped already by midtable Charlton in League One
CM Christophe - je ne sais pas
LM Moussa - come on as substitute (1 start and 3 sub appearances) for struggling Championship Leicester
CF Laurent - je ne sais pas, but seems to be upto 'C' in the alphabet when writing off to clubs for trials
CF Freedman - knackers' yard

Sub Walker - come on as sub for struggling League One Orient
Chef Revell - starting for struggling League One Orient
Physio/sub bench Scannell - unused sub for struggling League One Dagenham

They've either appointed, or will be appointing, Ian Baraclough.

Not what their local rag said Saturday IIRC.
The chairman said although the 4-0 at Sheff Utd was a good result, he still had to make a big decision.
Tilson wasn't mentioned then but was in the earlier article stating that Adkins had finally gone to Southampton.

Moussa scored for Leicester in the Championship

Scannell was finally fit enough to make his full debut for Dagenham, and he also scored.
Francis played in another Charlton defeat. Neither McCormack nor Barrett made the bench.

Apparently it was a peach of a goal by the moose, and inspired Sir Chrissy to run onto the pitch and then to run and pick up the Lino!!

Hooper scored his first SPL goal for Celtic.

I know he wasn't this summer but I might aswell stick it in this thread rather than start another one.
