Best one I remember was in our First Division relegation campaign when one of the worst refs ever, Steve Bennett, sent off Roget or Boere against Oxford for a second booking for a foul on Nigel Jemson. Can't remember which way round it was, but the general gist was that he sent off a white man, when a black player was the offender, or the other way round.
Went down to see the arrogant pr*ck in the referee's room to explain his decision and he refused to speak. Wanted to ask him if he was colourblind!

What makes it even worse (as if that wasn't bad enough) was that Roget had the perfect alibi at the time of the scuffle - he was 30 yards away being booked by St*v* B*nn*tt.

No ones mentioned Derick Payne for lamping David Speedie in front of the East. About the only positive thing he ever really offered the club and about the only thing he was ever remembered for. Another one who went off to a standing ovation.

Good times. *goes misty eyed*

A Most Sent-Off XI?

Just imagine McDonough, Roget & Mohsni on the pitch together...

This is actually Ron's plan to save money when demolishing RH.

Trevor Roberts at Colchester was the best Blues sending off - ever.

A hero.

Eh? Spicer went for the ball and got the ball. Paterson, who falls over in the slightest breeze anyway, was able to walk away after a bit of rolling on the floor and continue "playing". Whilst it may have been reckless and was certainly committed (like Clarky), it wasn't malicious.....

Leg breaker jump challenges like Spicer's have no place in football - unless you 'play' (or used to 'play') in the Forest and District Sunday League.

Neil Townsend in 1977/78 season for heading but a stockport county player (if memory serves) by the touchline right in front of the west stand and lino!!!

must have got at least one more red.
