When was the last time we won a game in London?

The last time I can think of is Barnet away, but then that was the FA Cup anyway. So, last league game?

I don't think I've seen us win a league game in London, and that's having seen about 15 of them. Is it just me or is our record in the capital rubbish?

I'd guess early 2001 at Orient. Ben Abbey's match.

Ouch...that is a shocking stat. Ecspecially when we have a few london games now in League One.

Shame, as the London away games are always a fun day out as so close snd so many drinking options.

Fingers crossed the 28th it is then.

here here. lets get jolly in orient

Correctamundo! What a depressing statistic- 20 Jan 2001. Here's hoping we can make that right on the 28th- haven't got a very good feeling, mind.

O.K. here are our wins in London over the past 30 years (league matches) -

20/1/2001 Orient 2-0
1/5/1999 Barnet 2-0
3/4/1999 Orient 3-0
5/3/1996 Charlton 3-0
22/8/1993 Millwall 4-1
19/10/1991 Watford 2-1
4/11/1990 Brentford 1-0
23/2/1991 Fulham 3-0
9/4/1991 Orient 1-0
19/10/1981 Brentford 1-0
7/10/1980 Wimbledon 1-0
25/8/1979 Wimbledon 1-0
12/2/1980 Millwall 1-0

So thats 13 wins in 67 League matches played in London since 1979. I have seen 6 of those wins & the last one was the 3-0 at Charlton. Don't think I have missed any matches, does anyone else want to check?

Can Watford be classed as a London match?

I was at that game it was our 1st season in the old Division 2 and we played really well and the scoreline flattered Watford. Don't remember driving anywhere near London though!

I was at that game too, my first ever away game, and Keith Dublin scored the winner (own goal). We then signed him...and the rest is history...
