Breaking News Please Check Underground for Wembley Final

Isn't there a match at Wembley the day before that isn't affected? If that's the case then it implies the engineering works start on the day of our match. Surely they can delay them one more day? I know it's not that easy and these things are planned months in advance, but any project manager worth his/her salt can work around that.
Friday night is the England ladies match. I suspect line closures like this can only happen at night or at weekends so delaying until the Monday I doubt is feasible. It would probably have to be delayed months or months of other work also rescheduled depending on the urgency and sequencing.

No chance, it’s logistically impossible and again I do NOT blame TfL in the slightest for this farce. I’m hoping they can consider a partial shuttle.

These works will have been scheduled for ages and will be difficult to move. TBH it's not that that is ****ing me off - it's the consequent restriction on ticket numbers and the absurd linking of higher numbers to coach travel. Humans are ingenious people, they will find a way around the travel restrictions using alternative means. Just notify us of the line closures and we'll cope - all 25k to 30k of us and whatever Oldham bring.

It happens at other stadiums with worse transport links. It happens when there are unscheduled transport issues. We'll be fine just let us get on with it
Exactly. The engineering works are an inconvenience and one that the League should have got ahead of but they should not be causing the attendance to be capped.
