Programmes

Is it me or is it a very poor show that their weren't enough programmes to go around? I got the game at 12:30 and normally with half an hour to go you can pick up a programme quite easily, surely with a bumper crowd they should've printed more, around 13,000 because i know some people take doubles and more. Even more so, when the guy with the wheelie bin came round he ran out on the South Stand, dissapointed as i always like reading the programmes and find it takes pride of place in my books. Anyone know where i could get one?

Heard lots of complaints from people that couldn't get one! I was lucky, i got one, but i did nearly lose it by dropping it from the South Upper. Luckily i was able to get it back. Tbh though, the "All at Sea" fanzine is a better read!

Arrived at ground at 2:45, no sign of the programme sellers outside. AGAIN.

The seller got to the corner of the West and South and ran out again, with me being next in the queue. AGAIN. (twice in two games).

Now, whether its something to do with the programme sellers leaving early to see kick off or just the usual tight fistedness of not printing enough, I don't know. As the seller inside the ground never got as far as the West I assume there were plenty, like me, who didn't get a programme today.

We are not allowed to leave our posts till 5 minutes after kick-off (supposedly) and the only reason we are allowed to leave is if we sell out.

Todays lack of programmes was due to not enough of them being printed out. It's not the first time I've run out of them, and nor will it be the last. I will have a word with the girl in charge and see if she can get a couple of extra hundred printed out.

If you arrived at 2.45 I'm not surprised you didn't see a programme seller as the match was virtually over.

I was in the West Stand today (as opposed to the South Stand where I usually sit) and had no luck getting a programme at all before the game as there was not a seller in sight half an hour before kick off.

I went to the ticket office after the match however and was able to purchase two with no problem at all. Ring the club and ask for Marissa and if there are any left, she will sort one out for you - either to pick up or if you pay with your card, post one out to you.

Late to the game yesterday but managed to get one for my collection after queueing at the ticket office - might still have some left if you're lucky.
