Loads in Barcelona too. Las Ramblas after 11pm is a very scary prostitute infected place!

:hilarious: I stayed in Las Ramblas for a week a few years back and it was scary!!! One night i came back to the apartment and a group of lads and lasses approached and surrounded me - i was absolutely terrified...asked me if i wanted drugs - just told them i was over to play a footie match on trial with Barcelona at the Nou Camp the following day, and they were subsequently so starstruck they left me alone :D

No doubt i would never go back there again!

I think the news yesterday speaks for itself. It isnt safe here for prostitutes.

I think that's the whole point IMO. If prostitution was legal, they would quite possibly still be alive.

They would be doing their 'job' behind windows and protected in a confined area. They wouldn't have been picked up in a car and driven to the nearest forest to be raped and killed.

Yesterday's verdict also highlights the need to introduce capital punishment again IMO, but hell that's a whole another issue/thread. (Which Glasgow can start :p)
