I doubt Martin would have Gone on record & said that, but I could definitly believe its true.

I said at the start of the season & have continued to say it, if Sturrock doesn't get us promotion he'll get the chop.

We will see if its true or not in a weeks time is all i can add to this. But i agree with DTS looking at the loanees bought in i would guess RM has backed him, also Lund coming from a premiership club must be on a decent whack too, how much of that Southend pay i have no idea. Everyone talks about the injuries crippling the club , but hasnt PS bought in loanese and sign Spillane to supposedly cover these positions.Im pretty sure these werent RM signings.

I do not believe that the comments are genuine or the website has any more insight than guesswork.
However I can see worrying parallels with the Webby/Vic situation when DW was seeing out his time and results/performances after the Everton game where apathetic from everyone.

Our season took two months to get going because embargoes at the start of the season left us unable to bring in the players Sturrock wanted. Then last week, we couldn't bring in Mkandawire in time for Vale (when it didn't matter) or Wimbledon (who knows) because of yet another embargo. It has disrupted us this season, just depends what weight you put on it.

And I don't believe Freddy was a PS signing. You can give me all those claims from the AGM or whatever if you want. Managers have to toe the party line at times. I still believe he was brought in from above.

We will always struggle to go up under post-recession Ron, I'm afraid. Sturrock or no Sturrock.

post-recession Ron I like it.

Spot on. I am wondering whether we have actually been under Embargo, longer than we haven't this season. Which obviously has a massive impact on what Sturrock can do.

Yes Sturrock has made mistakes and he has held his hands up several times. Also the players have to shoulder responsibility for some of the woeful performances, especially of late. Not to mention the unfortunate injury crisis.

But you have to wonder how much of that is a result of Embargo's and continual late payment of wages?..Both of which have been quite common place this season. You cannot blame it all on that granted. But it just seems to me that our on-going financial struggles have and will continue to hamper any hope we have of getting out of this league.

Ron clearly does not have the finance to keep the ship operating in a manner that will bring the success we need. You cannot really have a pop at him for that. I wouldn't have it either. But, we now face the very real threat of an owner that clearly is struggling to keep us afloat and an owner that cannot afford to walk away. That my friends is a very dangerous cocktail for our football club.

I think i like the name Molotov Ron

Bollocks is not a swear word, proven in court by John Mortimer representing Sex Pistols and Virgin, if I remember right he said it was an old Anglo Saxon word meaning small balls.

Yep heard about this meeting. Mohsni took notes, made the tea and served the sandwiches at the same time and Freddy popped his head round with 2 minutes to go.

Yes, and Smith also got a bollocking for not providing the correct amount of crisps. Some fans were in attendance and they specifically asked for 582 crisps in a large bowl, Smith gave them 583. No wonder he gets so much abuse from the fans, what a ****...... :whistling:
