It's a difficult one. This happened before Ranger joined us. Should that matter? Debatable.

The fact is. He is a very good player and since joining has done well. Would we have afforded a lesser player the same courtesy? I'm not sure.

We are stuck with him. I hope he comes out and changes his life around to the benefit of Southend united. He deserved to be locked up and is getting his just reward for being a complete ******
