I think Nile will play a big part in our promotion push What a matter with you guys. I will say say this to you. those off you that are without sin cast the first stone.

and who's fault is that exactly?
I don't do wrong on's, especially wrong on's who prey on the vulnerable
WHOEVER THEY PLAY FOR.

Never said he was blameless, if he serves his sentence and comes out of jail the better person and gives his all for the team then we should back him

You seem to have very strong views, so why still paid to watch? considering part of your £22 goes towards his salary?

There's a bit more to it than that, but, yes, that's about it. He is still in Pentonville at this moment in time.

You just couldn't help yourself could you?

All you had to say was "yes, that's about it. He is still in Pentonville at this moment in time."

But no, it had to be as ever: "I know something that you don't know :raspberry::raspberry::raspberry:"

I respect the majority of your posts but its these smug and arrogant 'throw away' comments that get you flak from some posters.

Frankly i completely understand why.

So, hang on, I literally said "There's a bit more to it than that...." and you suggest I should have said "Yes, that's about it"??? Please tell me what the difference is?

For your information, yes I do know more in this case. My husband, having been formerly "Oscar 1" at Pentonville, has been able to establish without any doubt that Ranger is still in and was happy for me to tell the board here this. We also know exactly what has been causing a slight delay in his release but it is hoped this will be resolved this week ahead of that.

Ranger was simply not due for release until now, so I don't know where the 24th July idea came from.

I don't think I'd have jumped down your throat in quite the same way for your original post. But Crowstone does make a good point. You could have just explained the reason in your original post. Otherwise as he says, it does come across a bit (rightly or wrongly) as if you have information but aren't willing to share. And if that's the case most people would prefer to know nothing. I'm sure u can understand that.

When people are saying that he's been released and has disappeared, I am equally sure people would prefer to know the truth!

I was hoping not to have to pull the "my husband knows because..." card because that's an issue people have taken me up on in the past. There is more involved which I am not posting.

Surely the club, as his employer, has access to Ranger's situation with the due authorities without having to resort to unofficial channels to find out what is going on? If not, it raises serious questions about our judicial transparency if people can just disappear inside the system without interested parties being able to find out what is going on.

Can honestly say your post didn't bother me in the least, I'm just pleased someone knows something about what's going on. And it's entirely sensible not to give all the details for all sorts of reasons. You obviously have closer ties to the club than most of us and I'm grateful for any news, so please don't hold back on my account!

There will always be people who know more than others. This is because of the people they work with, the people they know, their position or just because they happened to be in the right place at the right time.

I've never quite understood why people get so worked up about it. Maybe jealousy? Either way, we are all on here looking for scraps of information and when you have something that is really confidential but someone else posts something that you know to be absolute tripe and codswallop - because you KNOW what is really the case - it is perfectly acceptable in my opinion to say "I can't divulge my source but..." or something similar.

I think OBL has come in for a bit of unfair criticism here to be honest.

Anyhow, back on topic... When Ranger does come out, I think it's by no means certain he will be welcomed back into the fold. There's another twist or two in this story I reckon. And no, I don't have any "inside" information (no pun intended)... just a gut feeling.

Rangers out... just seen him win the bronze in the women's 1500m :winking:
