Relatively obscure bands that you love

I'm wearing my Sonic Youth washing machine one

I went to see Bjork this week and my friend brought her daughter with her who was wearing the SY 'Goo' T'shirt which was older than she is and was telling me she had just discovered Bikini Kill and X-Ray Specs.

I'm quite keen on Warp Record's electronic act Plaid.
Apparently there is a Welsh band who do cover versions of their tracks called Plaid Cymru.......

Colourbox is a good shout. Did they do anything after recording 'Pump Up The Volume'?

Not that know of Shrimper Tom, they had a mini and full album released prior to that M/A/R/R/S project. It seems litigation over the samples used stopped them recording again. Steve Young, the S in M/A/R/R/S died in 2016.

Colourbox world cup should still be used in a world cup some day.

Worth flicking through recent 4AD releases - still a lot of good stuff coming out of there.
