Well, my friend and I went back to claim it and guess what...

It was still there! So we're now both a bit better off, as are the orphans the police station sponsor and the owners of the fancy pie & mash shop near where I work.

Proof that sometimes honesty does sometimes pay I guess, and that not all cops are bent. It'll come in quite handy actually, given that I'd forgotten I did all my Christmas shopping on the credit card until today...

Actually in fairness, what has been demonstrated is that there is nothing wrong in doing the right thing! Fair play to you and you deserve it and and can spend it with no worries.
