I think Maroon Blue has a good point. Maybe Phil Brown should offer Liam Dickinson a trial or the chance to participate in pre-season training to prove his fitness. I have feeling Brown might know how to get the best out of Dickinson.

Personally think the midfield has the biggest issue as people were cutting through us at times like butter. I think a defence of Cresswell, Smith and Clohessey in the unlikely event we can keep him is a great starting point but I would love to see a Granty like player holed up infront of the back four.

Which is why I can't understand why everyone says Spillane is crap, because he stopped this happening. Sure, he wasn't as good as Makandawire, but he was a championship player playing in league two.

Interesting to see that Tisdale of Exeter has declared that he will probably only be able to sign one player during the summer, due to the new financial constraints. Don't be surprised if we too only end up bringing in just 1/2 players, and draft in a few youth players to make up the squad numbers.
