I left at half time. Couldn't get on the Zone on my Duberry, but I had noticed someone on a laptop with what looked like SZ on it...

Pretty sure it was Peter Gilbert who scored. The corner came in from the North East side, Gilbert headed it on, and it looped in. Good goal. If Louis Soares spent less time looking like Jermaine Pennant and more time playing like him, he'd be a good player.

What has also been neglected is that Dagenham Kev is in attendence, wearing what I believe to be the 2006/07 long sleeved away shirt, UNDER the Firholm shirt, with his watch over the long sleeves. Not only is he a Southend Fans Legend (well, sort of), he is also a complete style icon.

did he have his red trousers on? I've been looking everywhere for those - probably from some upmarket London boutique!

Just got back and have to say quite enjoyed a tidyish performance and was very impressed with kyle asanti, the boy imo has definitely got something about him and should be a regular in the first team next season (always looking around , and good movement) was impressed by the number 8 also ! not sure who it was maybe Bouzid?(surely not) whoever it was was the pick of the midfield.

Oh and to round it off i managed to break the back of one of the seats so i apologise in advance to any seaso who spends £350 on a broken seat next season

How can you not tell the difference between Soares and Asante!? :hilarious:

Anyone know who else came off the bench apart from Della-Verde? Did Stevens get any more game time?
