I just dropped in once, Croydon Central was where I invested time but Labour failed to win that by 165 votes.

Where did you invest you time for the election? Shrimperzone? Oooooo-kaaaaaay then - you have every right to be smug.

Yeah, but it is where all the major opinion makers in politics reside.:thumbsup:
 
In all the hoopla about the SNP no one that I can find is reporting their actual percentage share of the vote. When the dust settles there is going to have to be some serious soul searching about a system that gives almost every seat in Scotland to one party on or around 50% of the vote but which disenfranchises the Greens and UKIP's c.5 million voters.

This is a conversation that has been fudged for most of my lifetime, and it really must be addressed.

Carswell tried to address it in his acceptance speech, which was probably the most interesting moment of the night, only for the BBC to cut away.

Constitutional reform is a necessity.
