The PL League Boss⭐⭐
The Play-offs and the World Cup Prediction Leagues seem to have gone down with lots of new blood, well now it’s time to start thinking about the PL. The rules and scoring for the Prediction League 2014-15 are much the same as last year i.e.
SCORES:
MAIN PREDICTION LEAGUE
Those that ended the last session of 2013-14 either in Division One or those promoted to Division One will compete in this League in the main PL, everyone else will be in Division Two.
At the end of each session the top three in Division Two will be promoted and the next four entered into the play-offs. The bottom four in Division One will be relegated
PREDICTION LEAGUE CUP
This will be competed for each session, and all who predict in the first set of fixtures will be automatically be entered.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR WHEN IT COMES TO BYES THE FIRST TO PREDICT WILL BE GIVEN A BYE. (For instance if 50 predict the first 14 to predict will receive a bye to the second round the remaining 36 will play in the First Round etc)
SOUTHEND PREDICTION LEAGUE
All are entered on an equal basis, only results and scorers for Southend matches will count in this
ROOTS HALL “HOME” CHAMPIONSHIP
Every Predictor will be asked which stand at Roots Hall they Prefer (East Stand, North Bank, South Stands and West Stand), the three highest scorers in the League at certain times will represent their stand in a League competition.
Hopefully that the lot, anything else I’ll post up, later

- The Prediction League for 2014-15 will, as last year, be in four sessions of about 13 to14 matches.
- Six fixtures will be selected each time.
- Try and Predict the correct score for each match, pick one as your “wildcard” which will score double points and Predict who you think will be Southend’s first scorer.
- You predict only once but the scores each time may be used for Main PL/PL Cup/Southend PL and RH “HOME”
SCORES:
- If you Predict the correct score 3 points or with your wildcard 6 points
- If you Predict the incorrect score but the correct result then 1 point or with your wildcard 2 points
- If you predict the correct Southend first scorer (or correctly predict no scorer) 2 points.
- If you predict 6 out of 6 correct results then 6 extra points
- If you predict 5 out 6 (or out of 5) then 5 extra points.
- Once predicted you can change your predictions anytime up to kick-off time.
- If your chosen wildcard fixture is postponed you can change this anytime up to kick-off OR the preceding fixture will automatically be selected.
