Well as we move up a division we will be saying goodbye to some old players and saying hello to some players from the past.

For a starters ...........Saying Goodbye to

Luke I'm Not Right in the Head Gutteridge - Northampton
John Joe Tool O' Toole - Cobblers
Egg Head I'm Home Sick - Cobblers

Saying Hello again to

I dont know whether its the foreign influx of players in higher divisions and the raising standard or our own reduced standard but, in many previous seasons, we could look at the highest two divisions and almost select a full squad of ex-Blues players.
I know there are a few about here and there but nothing like in days gone by.

Corrected for accuracy - sorry I'm in a pedantic mood tonight..... :winking:

Also saying "hello" to:

Luke Daniels - Scunthorpe United
Glenn Morris - Gillingham
John Egan - Gillingham
Anthony Grant - Crewe Alexandra (though maybe not for long!)

Used to rate JCR when he was with us , lively player and would love him back at the hall

Saying goodbye to BBBC.

Not quite goodbye but Crawley are now in Division 4 so no meeting up with Prince Harry and Josh Simpson.

It could be interesting for Prince Harry as The Gas are back in the league as well.

JCR = step over, step over, fall over.

Apart from that game against WBA on New Year's Day 2007, when IIRC, he scored two cracking goals in a 3-1 win. Took my daughter for the first time and hope sprung eternal! Less agreeable was that FA Cup game against Barnsley which, by chance, I also attended............to see that 'fluke' goal he scored
