I know this isn't related to Southend but I have just read a piece about Scarborugh's financial crisis on the bbc site. I thought that a few of the members on here would sign an online petition to get Scarborough's local council to remove a covenant that states that the land their current ground is situated on may not be used for anything other than sporting facilities. This is a huge issue as Scarborough's financial situation means that they need to sell their current ground for housing and move to a new ground whilst using the profits they get from the sale to pay off existing debts. If this doesn't happen their club is in danger of folding.

Have signed up. There's about 10 going on a minute on there at the moment!

Hope it works.
