Agreed. Cant stand it myself!

To be honest I think the numbers would be too large (hopefully) for a golf day to be realistic anyway...

SZ's own Ken McNasty was also there. If you guys fancy teaming up and making it a Blue United Day it could be intresting, especially as we were offered to host it at a pub with 20 acres of land behind it for us to muck around in.
Well Mods??

Worth looking into is it not?...

I'd certainly be up for that... I'm pretty sure the other guys would too?

Perhaps the mods of the different sites need to get together in the pub (a real one not the forum

) to mull it over and flesh out some arrangements?

It'll be an absolute pleasure to have a joint event for all the online Shrimpers communities

We would be up for it again.

We have done the last 2 SOL Fundays & it's a great way to meet fellow supporters and raise funds for a very worthy cause.

That's OK. I'll arrange to get a wall painted and the rest of us can watch it dry ... much more entertaining ...

In all seriousness this does show the difficulty with this kind of thing... we'd like everyone to come, but apart from SUFC we've all got very varied interests, so there will always be some people who are less than enamoured with the chosen option...

I'm sure even if it is golf/cricket/some other minority interest activity, we can ensure its a fun day for everyone anyway

Why have a pub games day? I remember a few us went up to the The Swan in Little Totham and had a great day playing giant jenga, lobbing horseshoes, hurling wellington boots, shoving h'apennies, playing darts, cribbage ... you could have a round-robin competition between all the websites (inc. the official site)? Do it in the Spring and it could be fun for all the family.
