Sign Elliott Ward on loan

We have been leaking far too many goals recently, the player who I believe we should sign on loan to cement our promotion bid is West Ham central defender Elliot Ward, who has just come to the end of a three month loan spell at Plymouth Argyle. The reports coming from all quarters here in the Westcountry is that he has been truly outstanding and will be sorely missed!  Surely a player who must be fairly local to Essex and one that has dealt with Championship forwards exceedling well these past three months is well worth Tilly going after?

Yeah, he was stunning back end of last season for the Hamsters, sounds a decent prospect, and he's young too. Definitely someone to look at.

We have only "leaked" goals in two games, prior to that we only conceded 5 in 13 games !

Lets not push the panic button just yet.....

This was the bloke that we were after. We obviously lost interest after signing Sodje but could be a name to look out for come summer-time!

Also remember, that Prior is likely to retire at the end of the season, and with Edwards leaving, we will be short of experienced central defenders...

If W@nk-Ham sign more defencers in summer, so its would'nt hurt to try & get him on a season loans deal if we get promoted. This is way forward for us to finish outside the bottom 3 in Championship (a big IF) as we won't complete with the like of Wolves & Sunderland for paying wages, so our youth system is vital & we got some good Under 16 players coming through under Duncan so that be useful in few season time.

Lets hope so - the only way we will compete in the top half of professional football is to bring our own youngsters though.

we are already in the top half of professional football. We currently sit in 45th position out of 92.
