As Shevver moves in, surely Carlton Cole who's already way down the pecking order and barely playing will move on now. Hardly proved his worth in Prem loan spells so seems to me more likely to be Championship bound.

To be fair, the brief millisecond where I imagined him up front with Freddy made me smile but the reality of it is that I'm sure a lot of bigger or more appealing Championship sides would want him.

Ah yes, that would explain why that's not in breaking news anywhere.

Either way, if Spurs have bought him then we should be able to loan him when they get bored of their new toy in, let's see, a month?
