Singh

shocking ref from where i was tonight..
Can understand some of our booking etc, but if ours were, they deserved at least another 3 yellows, if not more!
Ruined an exciting game where we looked as we could have gone on and got all 3 points!
Going to miss moussa too imo..

Could't go tonight as i have just had an operation. And I don't know you. But can I just say you make me proud to be an SUFC fan and I hope I get the chance to have a beer with you sometime because of your passion and your humour. Keep your head up mate, keep the faith, and well done for being so straight up!

Just a ****ing bit mate.

Going to take a load fo stick now and could do without it. Dont mind losing if they were decent but we were on top of them despite that ****ing ******s complete inability to make a decison. Diving is a booking, kicking someone off the ball is a booking, Fosters kick on Sawyers was almost ****ing criminal......

That was the worst refereeing display I've seen for some time from a normally excellent ref.

In my opinion it was caused by the sheer stupidity of Alex Revell. Who says footballers are stupid? Well he proved it tonight. Quite why he felt he needed to jump two footed on to Kuipers in the first 5 mins I don't know. And quite how he got away with not being sent off I don't know. From there on the game turned into a total battle and the referee was looking for an excuse to send a Southend player off, as he'd clearly realised he'd bottled it. I reckon if that incident had happened after 60 mins, off go Revell and Kuipers for the retaliation.

Moussa is an unfortunate victim of weak refereeing as Revell should've gone earlier. Moussa's challenge was not even worthy of a yellow from my view in the East. Virgo lept off the ground two footed, hurt himself in trying to hurt Moussa, yet he gets away with it as it looks like Moussa hurt him.

Yep and the ref really was the wrong side of Moussa anyway! For sure,he could see the challenge right in front of him but our view in the East and that of Tilly's DVD shows Singh was wrong.

Singh used to be a good ref imo. Didnt really get a good view of the red card but he got it out quick enough to say he was sure of it.. The arms being thrown around the ground made me feel it was a bad decision.. Whats your opinions on the red card ?

He made a few bad decisions and may have to think about just being linesman in the near future, or just drop down a level and ref somewhere else..

From BBC Sport

Making it sound alot worse than it was.

BBC sport is a load of ****e. I guarantee they wont have gone to the game an get the news third hand of Reuters who get it from the Southend press. I am pretty sure if they had said "Colnel Gadaffi sent off for crude tackle on the Lady Di" the BBC are so ****ing thick they would print it.

nicky forster what a ****ing prick he **** me off so much tonight dont get me started nicky forster your a ****

Did Singh get it wrong before the Ravell challenge cos it looked like a back pass just prior to Ravells challenge that was not given!

Inconsistent referee - thats Singh.

Realised he could use a warning instead of a card by the end of the game really.

Unequal decisions about what is a card & what isn't, also some of Brightons' offences were treated more leniently IMO.

The first 'incident' between Rev's & Kuipers should have been a stern warning, especially early on, Singh should have spelt it out to both of them equally rather than the cards. It would have laid out some control by Singh rather than quickly reaching for yellows.

Forced his hand for the red then really etc...

And this ref has experience!!??!!

Jeeeezzzz

Always thought he was a good ref, how wrong i was the sending of was never a sending of he lost control of the match and was just booking people for fun.An absolute disgrace

Excuse me. What a lot of cobblers you lot are spouting.

Fact is, we were the better team and lost. Ref's fault? No. If you go in two footed and studs up, like Moussa did, you get sent off. End of, no complaints. If a Brighton player had done that (and none of them did) and not been sent off, we'd have been up in arms.

We can't complain about any of the cautions and the ones dished out to Brighton players were spot on as well.

I don't recall many, if any, decisions he gave that looked wrong. It seems to me that a few of you have forgotten how to lose.

Funny as Steve Tilson on the OS seems to think it was a **** decision too....And he has seen the video.

Bend over so we can hear you more clearly - because your talking out of your ***!

Lord?! - Jeeezzzz

I thought Mooses red was a tad harsh, but he did go in studs up so he is giving the ref a decision to make

I'm totally biased of course but i thought Revell was a bit late so deserved a yellow but the keeper should have gone for retalliation

Yeah well Tilly always has someone to blame when we lose.

Well from your vantage point in the SU it was never in any doubt was it...
i mean seeing it happened on the half-way line you must be the best-placed to comment right?:D
