I find the following phrase slightly worrying:

All the information has been submitted to the Secretary of State (Government Office) Go East for her to assess whether the ‘application’ should be called in. She is given 21 days to do this; however, the Council has been informed by letter that this will not happen in the prescribed time.

Seems to suggest that the decision is going to take longer - shame nobody has drawn this to our attention before.

Possibly to do with the ongoing Gloucestershire police investigation?

And if so (just conjecture, mind) will continue until at least June 29th when Cllr Connors has to answer further bail with Gloucestershire Constabulary.

Hmmm :confused: I think this is a job for our resident Sleuth~ Sussex by the sea to look into.
