Probably wide of the mark, but thought it was worth posting.

Talksport just stated on their 9am sports bulletin that they understand that there is no truth in the rumours that Sol is set to quit.

Maybe Jim White will get Ron back on later this morning to clarify?!

wonder if now that Ron has the new stadium deal as a carrot, if he's now looking for a management team who can bring in investment, as per the situation with Henrik Larsson.

You can imagine Ron wanting to use this time to completely clear the decks and start a significant rebuild at the club, and he can only do that with some money in place. Campbell wasn't Ron's first choice, and it seems the relationship between them has broken down.

Who at this moment in time would be looking to invest in a football club, is another question.

Wouldnt worry me if he left, with the new stadium coming up hopefully we need a manager that actually cares for the club, ideally a ex player that can maybe put a bit into the club or even get a stake in the club, maybe two ex players that no what they want, its about time we had Barrett and tilson or Barrett and Harris
