Ok, So even if Southampton finish outside the releagation zone they get 10 points deducted and will be relegated. What I dont get is say Barnsley and Norwich finish in the bottom three aswell. Is it fair that one of them stays up with Southampton's points deduction ?

If they havent been good enough over the season and finish in the relegation places they deserve to go down.

I know its unlikely to happen as Southampton are second bottom at the moment but I was just curious.

They should either deduct the points now or at the start of next season, I don't agree with waiting to see what happens at all.
