The game was a bit like the weather drab and dull.
How Oxford didn't go down to 10 men is beyond me?
No real chances throughout the 90 minutes, (with the exception of Cox and Yearwood). with just 6 shots on goal and one shot on target each for both teams.
I thought we shaded it performance wise in the 1st half, and they edged it over us in the 2nd half.
Also thought Moore was our MOM.
Was it a case of 2 points dropped?...as a Southend fan, my heart says yes, but if i was a neutral, i would say a draw would have been a fair result. I think it was just going to be one of those days, where if we played until midnight, the final score still would have been 0-0.
On the back of that performance, i'm not as a confident as i was this morning about facing Gillingham next week, especially what with them beating leaders Portsmouth today & with White being out injured with a possible hamstring injury and Demetriou suspended after picking up his 5th booking of the season.
