Hopefully with 3 up get the green light for next season.Im still seeing this season really as build up to a proper go at promotion next season, assuming we can get out of the embargo and be able to strangthen where needed. It would be a bonus to be in the play-offs this season but I honestly can't see us getting past either Wrexham or Notts County. Get those two out of the way and its a very open field next season where any of probably 7 or 8 clubs could win the league including us.
Looks a definite red to me. Blondy could have done better for the goal - shame as he had a really good game otherwise.
I am sure the players are not bothered one bit about hearing their fans chanting for their rogue employer to go!Couldn't agree more. It is not helpful in any way especially as he usually isn't even at the games!
Especially when it's only a handful of times, for around 30 seconds at most and is a needle in a haystack when compared to how much support they get across the 90 mins.I am sure the players are not bothered one bit about hearing their fans chanting for their rogue employer to go!
Just when you hoped it could not get an worse this weekendVery bad results for us today.
Amazing to think if Powell was the penalty taker, he’d be by far the leading goal scorer. And before anyone says it, assuming they went in of course. And before anyone says it, I know it’s no guarantee he’d score.

8th actually and it is still in our hands. We simply have to start beating sides around us. Obviously Wrexham will be difficult but even there I fancy a 1-1. We need to get at least Cardwell back this week and if we can get back to our October form there is no reason why we shouldn’t pick up 4 points from Chesterfield and Boreham Wood.Midweek showed promise then downhill fast to a messy weekend and dropped to 9th.
big positive response needed for tuesday.
Your lot resembled a basketball team. Are any under 6’ 2? Good wrestlers too, not that any of the officials noticed.Barnet fan here who was at the game. Read a lot of comments on here not overly positive about our style. The interesting thing about our manager is he changes our system and style depending on the opposition. Today he bought in Diarra, big lad in midfield and put our Captain Gorman on the bench. We played 4 at the back usually a 3 so we didn't play our usual football at the back. Credit to us we came and adapted to play you. Yes we were touch tight and niggly, physical but we are able to match a team in a fight. We bought on Gorman last 25mins started playing more offensively.
You played some nice football but it felt like you wanted to walk it in. Some of your players are a bit tarty! The little body builder guy was useless up front. Way too many flicks from your lot. Hardly any crosses although you didn't have much to aim at.
The lad who had a chance in on goal before beard pulled him down should of powered on but slowed and dithered.
Jake Hyde wasn't the answer for us 8 years ago so he's not what you need.
Overall I would of taken a point but I think we edged it.
Great atmosphere, best of luck with that prick you have in charge. Fairplay to one of your fans who actually shook my hand whilst I was sitting in traffic wished me and my lad a safe journey back.
No goalkeeper, no Lopata, no forwards , no game plan other than Bridge that now has two on him!8th actually and it is still in our hands. We simply have to start beating sides around us. After Tuesday it is 4 games left at home and 8 away, which is no bad thing. I think the pressure will be a lot less on the road.
Last night was really tense and the high level of expectancy worked against us (plus the Lopata episode).
Let us just aim for the play-offs, even if it is only in 7th place.
