Saw this on another club’s forum and thought it might be interesting. An XI made up of the most obscure players to have signed for us. Must be loads we completely forgot ever even signed.

Early shout for goalkeeper... Clark Masters. With us a year and a half and then left after making zero competitive appearances.

There are many players over the years that I must have seen play numerous times for SUFC but when their names are brought up on the Zone I have absolutely no memory of.


Oddly, I do remember Mike Angus, though.

Although he did go on to play for Stevenage, Southampton, quite a few Hungarian clubs and 18 full international caps for Hungary.

I expect winning the Essex Senior Cup with us trumps all those though.
