So here we are the seventh home game of Chris Powell's return and time in charge at the Mighty Shrimpers against Gillingham.

It is now time for ALL of us to get behind him and the team whether you are at Roots Hall, listening on the radio, or watching on ifollow, and make that famous "Roots Hall Roar".

Chris Powell's 7th Southend United Home Team

Oxley, Demetriou, Turner, White, Coker (C), McLaughlin, Yearwood, Timlin, Kightly, Cox, Robinson

Subs: Bishop, Ferdinand, Wordsworth, Mantom, Wright, Harrison, Ladapo

Chris Powell’s current home record

Won 4
Drawn 1
Lost 1
Goals scored 11
Goals conceded 7

(PS Sorry it is a bit late, got held up on M25)

That's a much better side.

No place for Ferdy, though, again.

Theo gets a start; probably deserves it after a reasonable appearance as sub at Home Park. Still no McGlashan on the bench......

Holy in goal.

Should be able to deal with our crosses.

O'Neill, and Moussa on the bench..... let's not have the curse of the former player please.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

My son is a ball boy today and is next to SCP - i can't make the match as had surgery but looks like he passed on the tips to SCP ;0)

UTB

3-0 Kightly
