Been hugely impressed with Payne all pre-season and see no reason for him not to start when he's consistently been probably our best player in the warm ups. Yes he's young and inexperienced, but I'm confident he can do it and really think he'll end up becoming a bit of a Kane Ferdinand for us (if not better).

Don't know where to put this, I've just came back from an exhausting and gruelling day in Toulouse and was expecting to see a thread concerning the signing of Forte or Lee. All I find is that some juveniles have broken into Roots Hall (I ask you, the intelligence of some people........what did they expect to find...........a treasure chest???) and that PB hasn't been paid six months up front. (Well, who believed THAT anyway?) Christ, there's been more excitement at the Test Match today! Let's hope that there will be something more positive tomorrow.
