Southend XI with little game time

Did we not have a player called Mark Schmid or something liek that in teh early's 00's who hardly ever got any game time ??
 
David Roche is a former professional footballer, born 13/12/1970 who played for Newcastle United, Peterborough United, Doncaster Rovers and Southend United in the English football league in the 1990s. Roche played 41 times for Newcastle United, during which time he was loaned to Peterborough where he played 4 games. Newcastles then manager Kevin Keegan sold him to Doncaster Rovers for £85000. In his midfield role he scored 8 goals in 53 appearances for Rovers before being sold to Southend in 1994 for £55000 where he made just 4 substitute appearances before disappearing.[1]

I didn't think he ever pulled on the blue shirt. Wasn't he arrested before he got any game time?

David Roche we signed from Peterborough and was **** in the leg. Peter Daley we got from Liverpool - don't think ge played much but he id score a great goal at Layer Road when we all but relegated them.
 
Seem to remember Steve Anthrobus warming up at Hartlepool in about 1991 but did not feature. Probably on loan though.
