Stephen Humphrys

When he played against medical adice he got his nose smashed for the second time in an SUFC shirt. Do you remember how Sol reacted. Do you remember after the game, Sol he didn't have a clue whether SH was in hospital or not. Sol was to busy txting women on his phone.

Luckily for SH he will never have to suffer such a wrong'un again.

The appalling treatment dished out to Humphreys that night was up there with Brown’s treatment of Mark Phillips in the home game when he couldn’t walk.

In fact it was worse.

I have a season ticket at Wigan so watch them a lot. He showed some flashes of quality but I think the general consensus is that he didn't take the chances he got. The fans really liked him because he offered something different to the other attacking options and he just has that style about him that's nice to watch, has a cracking shot and would come on for the last 10 mins and dribble through the tiring defence. I saw him in pre-season and he looked very flat and disinterested so the writing was on the wall, sadly.

It's a shame to see him go but he's clearly not in Leam Richardson's plans and there are 5 strikers ahead of him in the pecking order now. Hopefully a fresh start will get him back to doing what he does best, and L1/Scottish Prem is the level he needs to establish himself at before hopefully getting a bigger and better move. He's only 24.

Credit where it is due, SH is willing to move big distances to play. He has a contract and could have bench warmed but wants to play.

Bad news for us it is only a loan as I presume we had a sell-on for him.
Do these normal expire after one move (e.g. SH going from Rochdale to Wigan) or do they last for subsequent deals too? Can't see how a new paying club can be held to honour a clause in perpetuity regarding payments to a previous club from quite far back.

It will be a percentage of whatever Rochdale earn. So if there was a sell on in his move from Rochdale to Wigan and then Wigan sold him we’d receive a percentage of Wigan’s sell on. Which we’d then owe Fulham a percentage of.

Scored for Hearts again this afternoon—2-2 draw at Killie—other goal scored by Atkinson—not our one—it will have meant playing the ball forwards.
