Question Strikeforce v Cheltenham

He and Freedman seemed a dream attack but as neither can stay fit its proving to be a bit of a pain,. Revell and Laurent have done well but we need our big hitters back.

Thats hardly encouraging just a few hours before me, Em and Biffa travel to Cheltenham. The thought of Rev's and Walker isn't one that excites me!

Whilst I'd love to have Barnie and Dougie in tandem Revs is working hard and Walker has 2 in 2 so dispite our mad five minutes at the back v Oldham hopeful of a win tonight with Revs and Walker up top.

Walker is good - inexperienced but good - Oldham struggled with his control and whacked him a few times... sometimes he makes the wrong choices but hes good ...

the situation with Freedman and Barnard is very aggravating - Matty H would have got a game if he had hung around - I think Revell is at the very top of his ability range here ...

thing that confuses me is that every piece on the os always has a tiny bit at the bottom saying freedman is still a week away from training. that's been said in every day for the past god knows how long. thats one long week.

Where does it say Barnard is not playing tonight?

Taken from the OS:
Forward Lee Barnard could be involved having shrugged off his hamstring injury and returning to training last week.

He will be on the bench at best... Revell has been playing well and Walker has scored in the last 2 games!

I kind of hope we win without Walker scoring tonight freeing a space for Laurent and/or Barney on Saturday... but then Tilly probably wouldn't change a winning side anyway.

It was suggested Barnard would be fit enough to contest a place last game, personally, I reckon it'll be left to Rev and Walker tonight, and with Laurent back at the weekend, Barney'll get a go in the reserve game, which I think, is next Tuesday, possibly Dougie as well for that matter.

akwad injuries? Wow that sounds painful, how do they treat them then? :)

When I see RC's moniker as the latest poster on a thread, I reach for my reading glasses, plump up my cushion, and prepare myself for a seriously long reading session as I click on the link....

Must be an imposter, Richard Cadette doesn't do one liners!

I'm diversifying due to the credit crunch - have to bve adaptable in these times :) Wow, there's another one :)

hopefully the management have learnt it's not wise to rush Barney back.
Definately wise, because if he picks up another knock, thats another striker out for another good 2-3 weeks, he is recovering from his most recent injury, and I personally hope he does make sure that he is match fit before he plays first team football again.
