Support against Orient

Thought the support last night was brilliant considering the very poor game on show.

a lot of teams after going down after 11 mins would have sat down and been quiet. yet we continually sang throught the 90 mins and got a little bit of pay back with the late goal followed by wild celebrations.

good effort everyone imo.

Good show by 99% of those who were there - shame about the very small number of idiots toward the back trying to start Tilson/Martin out chants but AFAIK they were dealt with appropriately by those around them.

Support was fantastic last night.There were at least two fellas i saw who were standing facing us appealing for the fans to get behind the team.

It's as if the Southend fans absolutely refuse to let this team go down this season or to be in danger of it.I think EVERYONE around me leapt for joy as that goal went in at the death,we all know how important that was to the club.
Every time the home fans started their own "Orient" song,we drowned them out with "we hate Orient!" 3 times louder.

With this sort of backing you get a slight feeling of invincibility in the terraces and hopefully that transforms itself to the players.
Surely the backing HAS to help the likes of Herd,Moussa,O'Keefe,Grant,Barnard,Walker,Sankofa,Francis....kids the lot of them!

Backing should help all players. Just a shame a minority like to voice their frustrations at the game.
