I doubt he cares what people think. Let’s just hope the club can survive the season. He is looking like a proper pillock. Plays the big shot, even donating to the Tories, but it’s ordinary folk bailing him out
People can walk out of and when they want. but that won’t force Ron to sell. Nothing will.A few beers down the Railway to celebrate?
I don't know, which is why I said we need to find a way, somehow. Heads need to come together and ideas/solutions thrown about. Shareholders/Staff/Directors/Fans all need to find a way forward.
We need to attempt to build a new and solid foundation for our excellent team and staff to thrive upon. New owners, a new lease of life, the proper tools and positivity to make this club the best it can be.
The way it's going they are all going to be undermined and will leave. Circle repeats itself.

I don’t think Ron will ever sell. So I worry the club in its current form will go down with him. But it can always be restarted but would have to be somebody who was willing to part with an awful lot of money in hope of a real estate deal that may never materialise .At least your honest.
Mutiny sounds very appealing to hard done by crew but what happens when Captain Ron walks the plank. At the very least you need some officers who can sail the ship....Officers with a hansom some of guinea in their purse
The likes of Carl wont be interested because the land wont come with it if Ron is forced out.....It could drag on longer with the council now having second thoughts. So then what?... a go fund me page every week.
If it then becomes a non starter for any decent business man we end up with Ron 2....Someone who would build a cheaper version of Col U's stadium because that his only way of making money?
Thats more or less what happened to Wrexham about 15 years ago and they dropped into the NL the next year.....Hollywood or not they are still here.
They don't seem to require much in collateral .Next time I want a loan I am going to PG Site Services.
Thanks for this Information.I donated £20 and changed the Tip to Minus -£500 and got a £480 Refund!BTW, when you donate you can remove the "Go Fund Me" tip if you want. All you do is click on the "Custom Tip" link and leave it blank. The tip is then removed from your total.
Of course he should make a statement but what is the point - can anyone believe what he says - I can't.Absolutely incredible gesture from PG Site Services
What’s desperately needed now is a statement from Ron. The silence is absolutely deafening at the moment.
He is getting older, it’s not the best interest for his family’s to keep an hold of our club, he need to sell the club, then enjoy his retirement without any endless of abuses.I don’t think Ron will ever sell. He won’t. I don’t like this fact but I can’t see him ever selling. Thats what’s so frustrating. I’m not sure the club has a realistic buyer either as even if he sells he can still develop the flats as it’s run by his sons companyHe is getting older, it’s not the best interest for his family’s to keep an hold of our club, he need to sell the club, then enjoy his retirement without any endless of abuses.
So as it stands and whether you agree with the sentiment or not, there has been a £40k loan from the Shrimpers Trust, a £40k loan from PG Site Services and approaching £15k via the gofundme. So getting on for a £100k bailout.
Just how much is Ron underfunding our club by exactly?
The club is relying on the best part of £100k of handouts. Not sustainable. Won't give up a slice, won't invite offers, won't listen.
He needs to go, immediately. Not fit or proper. His position is untenable.
Sorry, but we need to find a way somehow.
But, in the short term focus needs to go back to the fundraising for our staff, not arguing about whether loans are right or wrong. It's clearly a necessity right now or a number of people aren't getting paid. This gofundme needs to raise as much as possible.
