Breaking News Support The Team Not The Regime! New update 24/11

I think he also has the ‘right’ to demolish rh with or without the club.
we have the protection of the covenant. Roots hall can not be built on unless we have a home in the borough of at least equal standing. Perhaps just as important this is clearly laid out in the planning permission

Covenants are to a large part very weak legal duties that courts are slow to enforce; and take into account modern circumstances compared to those of the time the covenant was set .
It is far from a "gimme" and like planning permission can, and does often change or get highly amended.
It ain't no "get out of gaol" or Ace, Joker card.

Remember SBC are 90%+ interested in the housing and not much more.

Yeah Southend has crazy high housing target figures too. I’m sure they would have preferred the flats at rh and ff done by now. Ron’s incompetence having on impact on that situation too as it drags on year after year

I just reread it- I suggest you do the same I will quote you 'none of my money will be siphoned off for his benefit' its blatantly clear that this is what I am referring to,

Absolutely fine that you want to understand more details, that's your prerogative, but to think that the Trust is simply going to hand it over so Ron can use it is insulting to the Trust
Once again you are reading your own ideas into my post. It is not blatantly clear what you are referring to. Only to you. However, it is now 11.49pm and I need my beauty sleep. We will have to just disagree on our own interpretations 🥱🥱🥱

I have no idea what players and managers get paid but could start at ridiculous speculative ball park figures ...

7 million pound revenue in 2019 accounts ...

10 staff on 100 k = 1 million

10 staff on 70k = 700k

10 staff on 30k = 300k

thats 2 million ...

I think we can do this ..
The club had 150 employees as of the accounts you are talking about, not 30.

if he goes into administration -

have a party ....

meet administrators and set out intention to buy SUFC

meet with trust - agree schedule of actions

asap -

set up meeting with lawyers - to create constitution for fans organisation

attend meeting with banks -

attend meeting with accountants -

attend meetings with National league

attend meeting council

public meeting to elect committee

the immediate concern would be getting funds to pay players and staff bills -

getting access to incoming revenues is key -

everything would depend in rapid recognition of fans organisation as legitimate represntatives of SUFC .. be this via the trust or by constituting another body with full support of the trust

the fans bring with them immediate cash injection and if legitimately organised access to the incoming revenues to SUFC ..

Southend United FC is a healthy and legitimate business - if freed from control of a parasitic owner it should thrive ..

difficult times but it should be possible to ring fence the players and management from this _ and pay them on time.

sit down with trust

Will you be attending all the meetings?

If so would you be open to allowing me and a camera to film you. The fees from Netflix would really help the new club.

Rayleigh Boy is one of the biggest idiot I ever know 🤦🏻‍♂ You want our season to be destroyed by wanting an administration, when Devon Blue liked your post, alarm bell ringing!

Apologies, I could have written this to a number of posts but didn’t have the time earlier.

With respect, you are basically calling the Trust idiots. Do you not think they have the same concerns? Do you not think they will ensure that this is done “right” Its actually really insulting to ask this, it’s like asking a grown man if he has tied his shoelaces

I didn’t think the Trust committee had to spell this out as frankly is bloody obvious that they are going to ensure the money goes to the people that need it and doesn’t go to Ron
With all due respect how does the trust or anybody ensure the club uses it how they want? That’s why I’m my opinion the go fund me should be dealing directly with those effected

See this thread about fund raising and supporting staff has been hijacked and diverted in the usual way - sigh
By what, people asking a sensible question (and no clear firm answer being given) on how any funds donated to the go fund me page will be spent

No, those I'd argue are relevant to this thread.

I'm referring to the ones on administration, revenue, the stadium. All of which have been done to death on other threads, often by the same posters.

Those calling for a RM statement, I ask you 'why'?

We, myself included, know that whatever he comes out with will be utter BS... a complete diatribe of utter waffle. I have long given up being bothered about hearing what he has to say due to his insincerity.
As it would be fun to read what he comes out with and who/what he will blame and be even better to see SZ thread of 20 pages Discussing about it

…….but in among that 20 pages, there will STILL be the usual band of Ron lovers who will back him, and try to convince us that “he’s doing his best” under the circumstances.

It defies all logic.

What a horrible dilemma !!

Ive spent 24 hrs mulling it over and still struggled to come to a conclusion.

God knows, I want to support the victims of this malignant, toxic regime, but at the same time, I don’t want do give a single penny that might ease the pressure on the man who is cynically killing my club.

I get it when people say that he won’t be able to get his soiled dirty hands on the cash, and I know that he will still owe the money to staff members, but the very idea of doing anything at all to temporarily bail out that “person” makes me feel nauseous.

I remember all the clapping for the nurses. Noble gesturing, but useless in terms of real “food on table” support. Like the nurses, all the foot soldiers at SUFC are heroes to our club , so with that in mind, I will be making a contribution……but what a grim choice to face.
