The £3 lunch deal.

I tend to have breakfast at 5:30, leave at 6, then a piece of fruit at 9, by 12 I'm starving.

By the by, Sainsburys has changed their £3 deal recently, the sandwich range has gone downhill and it's awful. I tend to see if there's any reduced ready meals on offer, or failing that grab one of their pasta salads.

Reduced ready meals sounds like a dangerous game to play.

Marks and Spencer do a range of meals under the title 'Balanced for you' which are great for lunches especially if you have access to a microwave. I usually pick up the Bolognese Pasta Bowl, the Chilli & Rice Bowl and the Coconut Chicken Bowl along with a couple of Kabuto Noodle/Rice pots for a bit of variation.

Sounds a bit much for lunch.

For me, a Greggs Tuna Crunch baguette, a hot sausage roll and an orange juice. Simples.

I spend the extra 79p and go to Boots instead. I enjoy trying to get as expensive a combination as possible.

Morrisons have a good one, where your 'snack' can be a pretty decent and sizable samosa, but alas none to be found in this corner of West London.
the olives that you sometimes get in the Boots deal are really nice - flavour is not too far one way or the other

Greggs savouries are never hot. In fact they are never above body tempersture.

It wouldn't surprise me if they are warmed under someones armpit.

I picked up a Sainsbury Indian meal Box, reduced from £8 to £5.50; so shared with a mate that is well under the £3 a head.

The counter to this is, of course, WH Smiths and their ludicrous claim to serve 'ice cold drinks'. Anything in the fridge at WH Smith is mildly chilled at best.
