Not so sure. When Claude starting asking about the business, and in particular the figures, she got exceptionally flustered. I would imagine her brother is the driving force behind the business. Also, if she had taken a salary the business would have made a loss. You can obviously only afford not to take a salary for a limited time otherwise you might as well be working for someone else. Presumably she could afford this initially as she appears to still live with her mother.

all very true, but after 1 year of operating i don't think it's a poor situation to be in... they will have had high start-up costs and teething problems as well as advertising and promotions when they opened. To have made a slim profit after all of this is a success in my eyes

Yes mate, I don't think it ever got properly dark last night.
Sun didn't really go down until almost 11pm, plus ut was a full moon which was fairly low in the sky too. Then it was bright sunlight again when I was up at 4:35 escorting Little Miss Shrimperette to the toilet!!!
