Got a BOT away (pointless!) and they are 57-8 and im TIE'ing and bowlers are rotating so hopefully they will get 5-6 overs each! Hitchman gets a game and Ngundane makes a rare OD experience to allow Deane and Raven to rest Sookram and Browne also rest and Waterhouse at 6 incase things going wrong.

Bowled them out for 65, with Waters taking 4, Ngundane 3 and Richardson, Mbata and Hitchman one-a-piece! Somehow one of their players lasted 65 balls ... he's got a btr rating of 2317, with a wage of 423! Doesn't bode well that the rest of the season!

I'm through, possible banana skin if they had GFId as they had a 275k player and a few above 100k but they didn't and I bowled them out for 77k. £100k gate receipts which is ok for an away tie in Round One.

oppo put out his reserves, bowled them out for 65 with Cairns taking a 5fer. knocked off the runs without losing a wicket.

Going to win pretty comfortably.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Boundaryshire

BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Cracked

End of Over 26: 146-2, runrate=5.62, reqrunrate=1.33 (177-10)
Pitcher 8-0-47-0
Nagendranath* 25 (25 balls)
Pollock 80 (90 balls)
Last Wicket: Downing c. Raven b. Bailey 35 (FOW: 89/2)

Away at a side a few hundred places higher than me ranking-wise; bowling first on a dusty track in the sun they posted 209-3, Williams 2-35.

We lost a couple of early wickets but Swayne (98*) and Lawro (54*) saw us home.

£106k gate receipts non-too-shabby.

At home to The Sentinels in R2 making for three home fixtures on the bounce.

At home again to NineTen XI, a team ranked about 25 places higher than me but looking at his squad it's a winnable game. Tough decisions here on selection and tactics. Don't want to throw the game but don't want to kill my players.

Decent ranked team but I think we can chase whatever they leave us from here.

End of Over 46: 193-5, runrate=4.20
Digana 8-0-24-1
Hindle* 9 (20 balls)
Casper 14 (29 balls)
Last Wicket: Dennis b. Benjamin 0 (FOW: 168/5)

Resting one bowler and on TIE against a decent opposition. Can see my boys scoring too slowly and losing by 20 runs or so.

End of Over 50: 244-4, runrate=4.88
Qambrani 10-0-56-1
Griffin* 43 (45 balls)
Ocarroll 39 (46 balls)
Last Wicket: Hamed c. Chill b. Rennie 21 (FOW: 159/4)

Ngundane bowls instead of Raven (plays as a "batter only") but at full strength apart from that!

Restricted them nicely on a sunny day on a green track!

End of Over 50: 210-7, runrate=4.20
Richardson 10-0-35-1
Dickens* 1 (3 balls)
Kwok 100 (131 balls)

Last Wicket: Schroder c. Lamb b. Richardson 1 (FOW: 207/7)

Rather comfortable in the end!

End of Over 14: 98-0, runrate=7.00, reqrunrate=3.14 (210-7)
Fulton 2-0-18-0
Waterhouse* 51 (39 balls)
Deane 45 (45 balls)

Snap.

End of Over 21: 110-0, runrate=5.24, reqrunrate=3.45 (209-8)
Flowers 4-0-27-0
Cunningham* 63 (68 balls)
Sinethemba 47 (58 balls)

9 wicket win with 11 overs to spare, as Waterhouse falls just short of his century in the process!
