We all know how fantastic Swansea have done and it does not seem too long ago when we were playing them on a regular basis in the same league. We can but dream of following that path to the promise land.

However a quick scan through the conference reveals many a team who have hit rock bottom and are now playing non league. You expect the likes of Hayes and Ebbsfleet but look a little closer and you notice Lincoln city, Stockport, Cambridge, Grimsby, Luton, York and Wrexham. All of these teams would have spent many a year in the lower leagues and some at an even higher level. Now they find themselves not only in non league but even struggling at this level.

It does make you wonder how through all the turmoil and shenanigans' that have gone on over the years at Roots Hall we have avoided this indignity, when so many others have succumb.

Ron wouldnt have let it sink, he would have got it bailed out by Sainsburys....

Sadly the new titanic he would have built wouldnt have fared so well as it would only have had 3 sides.

Belay there ye swabs this thread be going horribly off topic, anyway ive always wanted to be the one to do this next bit so here go's:off topic:

Getting back on topic. Wrexham were one of the teams that beat us in the LDV Vans final...and look where they are now, expecially compared to Blackpool who were the other side to beat us...
