I remember Who's up Mary Brown being sung very loudly at Derby away in the cupI vividly remember the days of the North Bank singing the old Knees Up Mother Brown version, and the accompanying melee!

ClassicsGreat post. This is always really annoying for me. And when I watch games on TV every band of supporters are all signing the same cr&p
‘Same bloody song ole ole ole’
Whatever happens to
‘Oh I do like to be beside the seaside with a bucket and a spade a fuc!ing hand grenade’ ?
And ‘my old man said be a West Ham fan, I said fu&k off bo!!ocks your a c$nt’
In your Colchester homesI seem to remember a song about looking in a dustbin for something to eat, you find a dead cat and you think it's a treat aimed at Northern slums. Not sure that would be allowed these days either.
Two separate things happened to me during the many times I was involved in the Knees up Mother Brown melee.I vividly remember the days of the North Bank singing the old Knees Up Mother Brown version, and the accompanying melee!
This was a class and needs to return! One that always seemed to fit for me was the classic:
“With an S and and O and a U and a T, an H and an E and an N and a D.
U, N, I…, T, E, D
Southend United. FC.”
Never was a song so perfectly made to align with the name of a club. And it happens to be our club. Led perfectly into the cries of Sea, Sea, Seasiders.
Unique and memorable.
Bring. It. Back.
Ahh.....Derby away in the cup.....'Fu** off Rioch, '**ck off Rioch'.....class!I remember Who's up Mary Brown being sung very loudly at Derby away in the cup
Not at all PC but from the same match...Ahh.....Derby away in the cup.....'Fu** off Rioch, '**ck off Rioch'.....class!
I was that****!!! You couldn't tell but I was laughing internally. Happy Days!"Who's that 'C-word' in the big blue hat? Dixon, Dixon, Who's that 'C-word' in the big blue hat? Dixon of Dock Green. On the beat all day, on the wife all night, Who's that C-word' in the big blue hat? Dixon of Dock Green." Sung by the PAK (not me of course, I was brung up well) to the tune of Camptown Races when a custodian of the law went past. They pretended not to hear. Anyone remember that one?
