And some feedback from two Ajax buddies of mine ;

"I wouldn't call them wise, being Feyenoord followers, but i can imagine they were having a great time watching so many games including the mighty Schrimpers."

"we all have the dream to someday in our life time have the opportunity to watch the epic shrimpers!!

Good use of the word "epic" that my dictionary describes as "an episode in the lives of men in which heroic deeds are performed". :thumbsup:

Is there a plural of epic? Epics perhaps? To describe the many "episodes of heroic deeds" that have been seen at Roots Hall.

I was living and working in Prague during the season we won League 1.

I managed to attend every home match and 14 of the away fixtures that season.....

thinking about it...... that's probably why I lost my job :(

for me it was a three hr drive roughly an hr at the tunnel half hr thru and one and half to roots hall. if time allowed the Salisbury café was visited first.

Loved the look on the checkout ladies face when I had a trolley of Heinz baked beans and soup as well as Crisps and Marmite etc and of course Cadburys chocolate. Paprika crisps uuuuurgh no thanks Holland

By the way cudos on travelling from Prague
