Breaking News Tilly wants another on loan

Personally, I don't see the need to play many defenders. It's not like it's working at the moment with 4 players in defensive positions. If we're not going to sign a defender, what about playing a radical new 1-5-4 formation? We could put our current central defensive pairing up front as they could easily lose their marker. And we could add Francis as an extra winger for his excellent crossing abilities. That way, we can keep our decent defender, Harding, at the back and he will know it's down to him and he can't assume someone else at the back will try and defend. In Mildy's current form, he should be able to sweep up most of what gets through. The opposition would be totally confused. I reckon we could win about 7-3?

We don't need defenders.

Very impressed!

Tilly isn't bothered about conceding goals as long as we score more. He said so himself at the end of the Telford match in his post match interview although it may have been partly tongue in cheek as the interviewer was unbelievably stupid.

Quite right and on the whole IMO we should be reasonably content with our defence, albeit we are admittedly very short on cover in the CB department.

Do not really understand all the clamour though calling for change. Don't think it will happen either, until Clarky either signs or departs.
