Yeh, the Police were there in force just before Midday, was apparently 'Drugs-related' ' and 2 scroats were being put in a van when I went past. Usal Police overkill with 20 coppers and 4 vans required to arrest b2 people from what I was told.

According to the Oxford Dictionary the word scroat comes from the word scrotum which means a pouch of skin containing testicles , must of looked very strange 20 coppers putting 2 B******'s in a van .

There is always trouble in Leigh.

I remember the old days when you could go out and have a quiet drink and only have to worry about being assaulted by a coked up thug or two but today it's all about guns, machetes and samurai swords.

I would think twice about paying 500k for a semi with nowhere to park despite having Natural Edge and twenty five hairdressers within walking distance.

I've never seen trouble in Leigh on a night out.... As for the rest, I have to agree :winking:

There used to be lots of trouble in Leigh, before it went all upmarket and wine bars.
