Not seen this mentioned on here yet but its been on BBC sport site last couple of days about planned changes to distribution to TV money to FL clubs.
Parachute payments for clubs relegated from PL would be extended from 2 years to 4 years.
Championship clubs would get an increase in TV money to £2m per year with L1 and L2 payments little changed at £200k-£300k.
An attempt to turn Championship into PL2?
Latest comments on BBC indicate if deal not accepted, PL clubs may spit the dummy out and keep all TV money for themselves.

I'd scrap the parachute payments all together. Why should you be rewarded for being ****?

I don't buy the fact that teams relegated from the Premiership need help for their immediate survival. Where are our parachute payments? You get relegated, you cut your cloth accordingly. The system obviously isn't working anyway, look at the number of ex-Premiership clubs that have entered administration within five years.

Exactly! Clubs are over-spending just to try and stay in the premiership its a joke! That's why I will always have a bit respect for the way West Brom go about their business.
