Question TV shows with great soundtracks

I thought we were talking incidental music rather than programmes like TOTP or classic theme tunes?

While I think of it, there's some great music on Scrubs. Part of it's charm, for me

"Who Pays The Ferryman" great tune , even got in the charts .

The Persuaders. The programme was dire but the theme is ace. One of the best instrumentals ever according to Marc Riley.

My top three of all time:

1. White Horses by Jacky

2. Robinson Crusoe

3. The Flashing Blade

A good early morning watch on BBC 1 was that. And then the Test Card came on for a couple of hours until it was the Midday news and Pebble Mill, indicating it was time to go out and terrorise South Benfleet

Then, if it was raining and your mates couldn't come round and play subbuteo, you might catch:

- Crown Court:

Or if it was a Sunday maybe:

- Out of Town with Jack

Or if you had to go to school and it was a history lesson at Appleton Comp our cop-out teacher, tired of trying to enthuse us with tales of yesteryear got out the school tele and put on this:

- World At War

Oh the memories. **** I'm old.

I claim the prize for the best selection

Was your uninspiring teacher Mr Hayes by any chance?

@Suffolk Shrimper In Dorset White Horses theme is absolutely my favourite. Robinson Crusoe is right up there, but you've missed some of my other favourites, one from a similar era:

Love this one, so haunting and melodic - plus Michael Praed was a great reason to watch!
