Yes I know Trump has his own dedicated thread but I thought this particular issue was worthy of attention.

Were the missile attacks justified? Simple question.

FWIW, i voted yes, although I'm fully aware that the Leader of the PLP and the Shadow Foreign Secretary thought the US should have gone down the UN route.

I'd have kept out of it, don't want to keep poking the bear that is Russia. They are capable of destroying the planet and it wont be long before several fingers are reaching for nuclear blasts.

We already have a thread on this subject

Don't fall for it. He who must be ignored is only trying to **** stir again. Russia have killed 100's and there has hardly been a murmer on here. The yanks kill 8 and guess who crawls from under his bridge (where all trolls lurk) to feed his perversion.

Step away and starve it of oxygen, its doing me the power of good.

So just to be clear with no proof who did this or even what gas it was you want to bomb Assad. But we all know what Ken Livingstone said but you can't decide if he should be expelled or stay.

why pick the same argument on two different threads? Then he will feel the need to defend himself and then there is another thread cluttered with the same old arguments.

War games via the Internet footage !

I'm still amazed there is mobile signal still working in parts of Syria.

Proof?
What proof do people want? I have little doubt that Assad's forces are responsible for the gas bombing.
I have little doubt that USA SS, GCHQ, RAF Akratiri, and other secret and specialist units have the proof of where the attack came from; AND I am not in the least surprised that "those that know" KNOW.

There is no real conviction in the denials.

Bombing by the US of A is a HUGE step but is largely symbolic in that it appears to be not much more than a "warning shot across the bows" when. if intended, huge damage and destruction could have occurred.
The line in the sand has been re-drawn by Donald.

Looks like the Stop the War coalition scored a massive own goal by shouting down someone who just might have had a clue what he was talking about, a Syrian refugee. Just goes to show what a shower of middle class bubble dwellers they really are. Nothing more than an excuse for yet another anti west scream up. Not a peep out of them about russian airstrikes over the last 2 years or the 6 years of slaughter carried by Assad.

Down with Bush
Down with Trump
Down with May

It has such a better ring to it through a megaphone while safely out of harms way outside the HofP. Perish the thought of doing it in the middle of Red Square.

Putin Out!!
Nah, it just don't sound the same.

Don't miss that last train back to Winchester.

So you don't have any proof at all just some assumptions. The same things were said about Iraq and WOMD and Saddam's super gun, we were even shown films clips of the barrel parts. Remember the now forgotten Taliban and their James Bond baddie style caves in Afghanistan we were told definitely existed. All by people in the KNOW

When they wheel out Malcom Rifkin to convince you, that's when I get really suspicious. Do some research about him, especially his links to the USA military/industrial complex. I've had my eye on him for a number of years.

Tony Blair knew yet was wrong...ditto Bush.

Funny how those choppers dropping barrel bombs were all perfectly captured on film......camera action !
Funny how "the White helmets" are there in the midst of disaster whilst of course being filmed!

The US fired 59 missiles with the power of a wet sponge...the damage seen is laughable.

Assad is the leader of Syria and he has been fighting terrorists including IS...maybe he has been fighting too hard for some.

See my comments on the appropriate thread.I've already made it quite clear I'm happy to abide by the NEC's decision.

Basically,as *** has already pointed out, Labour can't really win either way.If (as seems likely) he's expelled, then being Ken, he'll probably take the case to court.

As a life-long Labour voter, I don't take any pleasure at all in the party making a public spectacle of itself. The real enemy for Labour are the Tories (and to a much lesser extent, UKIP voters like you).

Unfortunately ,a lot of those "terrorists" (over the last 6 years), would appear to include his own people.

Trump's bombing of Syria goes against every policy he advocated on Syria in his election campaign and since being President.

Russia, Iran and Hezbollah says there will react with force to any further attacks on Syria.

Defence Secretary Michael Fallon says to the media that Putin is responsible for every civilian death on Tuesday. Foreign Secretary Johnson cancels trip to Russia.

I support intervention where dictators murder their own people, but unilateral inconsistent action by a lunatic like Trump, and then UK officials conducting business with Russia through the media rather than in person is a strong indicator that this will be a horrific **** up.

That's the key thing for me.What comes next?

Fallon's ridiculous posturing and Boris's non-visit shows just where the UK really stands in the world order these days.

So looking back do you think military action in Iraq second time was a success?
What did we achieve ?
Was the cost worth it?
Are the people better off now?

Its obvious that it was a war for profit not the people and further destabilized the ME, which has lead to the situation in Syria. And so the same mistakes will be repeated.....Deliberately.

War the one industry where the more you fail the more money you make.

You forgot to answer the first part of my question.
