V Festival 2010 Lineup

Try and stay awake this time around, Bob C!

;)
Ho ho Mr funny, that was a few years back now and in fact a couple weeks after Archie was born :p So as any Dad of a newborn will tell you it is a rather tiring time. Anyway what is wrong passing out in the middle field during Scissors Sisters, when you have BARRY in company.

Anyone else noticed how ridiculously expensive V is becoming. With easy enough Google searching these are the prices since 2003 for a weekend camping ticket:

2003 - £90
2004 - £98.50
2005 - £110
2006 - £120
2007 - £130
2008 - £145
2009 - £152.20
2010 - £165

Baring in mind Reading and Glasto last year were £175 and Isle Of Wight was just £140, all 3 of which have an Extra day's worth of Music and camping, and in most parts far better line ups!

I really want to hit a festival this year, but V just looks far too much of a poor bargain in terms of what else is available!

Festivals are a rip-off in this country now, might aswell go to one abroad will cost pretty much the same even with travel and be much better.
