On sale for Essex residents this morning. Just grabbed myself 4 for the sunday. Guessing they'll be sold out v quick. General sale tomorrow.

Only got them to see rihanna really!!!!!!

Are Del Amitri and The River City People playing?

People are slagging off V Festival, but the lineup is really good and has a really wide range of acts.
Last years MUSIC was brilliant IMO!
The festivals general atmosphere is not great at all!

It depends what you like, if you want to see Neil Young smashing out Rocking In A Free World for 48 and a half minutes then Glasto is the one, but if you want to hear the greatest white rapper to ever live then go to V this year.

The tickets sold out straight away again.

Morris Minor & The Majors have reformed?

It's surpsising how the line-up has shifted so much towards 'urban' acts - I'd imagine more people are attending V because of Eminem, Chase & Status and Tinie Tempah than are going for the Manics, Arctic Monkeys and Kaiser Cheifs.

I'm well aware that I'm not part of their target audience, but Jesus - that's a seriously woeful looking line-up IMO.

Duran Duran & Ollie Murs....:stunned: I half expected Jedward to be headlining :hilarious:

You can't get a bigger headline act than Eminem unless you want to get The Beatles, Elvis or Jay Z.

Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, The Prodigy, U2, Coldplay, Oasis and no doubt some others I can't think of. Don't get me wrong, I think Eminem is a clever ****er and has done some great choons, but when he goes "wacky" (D12) it's dreadful.

EDIT - Well maybe Nirvana aswell!
A big headline act does not make a good festival. No good having Eminem up in lights with a shower of complete and utter ***** below him.

Saw the Manics at the Cliffs when they played, they were bloody marvelous!
1993, Gold Against the Soul tour? I was there! Thought they'd lost a bit of their early drive by then but I still enjoyed it. I kept a piece of the glitter they dropped from the rafters for years afterwards. Wouldn't give a squirt of **** for them these days mind.

am after a red camping ticket for a friend? if anyone knows anyone selling one.

Cheers

Wow you are funny!

I left the word 'recently' out there, oops!

They were brilliant and they still are brilliant!
