Month after month, same thread same discussions ................
Not that it doesn't concern me , but am bored of the same old stuff !
We are trying to attract players to the club and personally don't see how such continued negative stuff can assist us in this.
It is indeed terrible, but threads of this like on this forum will not get the wages paid quicker now will they ??
Also, I hate to say this, but if the problems were as bad as being continually discussed on this forum, would two current players sign for a further 2 years if they had other opportunities ???

That's spot on. Everyone in football knows all about Southend's troubles from other players, agents, managers etc.

Don't you think the must be many more lower league clubs in the same position, paying late, scraping through month to month that we don't no or hear about cos it aint our club? When I tell non Southend fans our money trouble they are not aware cos they don't follow us closely. Just wondering how many more clubs are the same?

Majority of chairman are in football for their own personal gain - even the Billionaires for their own ego's, they don't care about the Club they own !

What's different this month to last month to the month before ? This is what I'm saying.
We are currently buggered ! But nothing is new or different is it! All it confirms is that Ron didn't win the Euro lottery and neither did any other Southend die hard fan ..
It's hard enough worrying about my own family well being in today's world than it is for me to worry month on month if the players have been paid. I love Southend and have done since 1986. I'm season ticket holder for 20 years as well. But I've got to be honest I sadly don't think that if the players had been paid on time or late that we can realistically mean that something has changed either for the better or worse for our club ! Whether people like it or not, the only important news about our club that would make me think twice about the future of it is when the first digger arrives on FF !

Seriously? We're worse than Bury, Accrington, Hereford, Swindon, Aldershot, Plymouth, just to name the first few that popped into my head who have all either lost points, been under embargoes, or not paid wages in the last 6 months? Ok we have on going cash flow problems but so do many others. We would not be getting players re-signed or signing new ones (when they have other offers) if things were as ****-down bad as gets said on here. I'm not saying things are great, but to say we are the worst is ridiculous.

I think this Month not being paid is more worrying because it will affect morale with the players, some may now decide to jump ship. Also, all these good players that PB has lined up will not happen without funds. PB has already told the likes of White and Prosser that funds will be available shortly to strengthen the team. This doesn't add up when they can't even pay the existing small squad.

Hereford and Aldershot aren't in the football league, and yes we're worse than Bury they have a new chairman and are quite well off compare to us, can't comment on the other 3 as I have no idea but they can't be that worse than us

And yet on the flip side turning into a positive Being paid for June was always going to be the toughest month because of no income at all in that month. Now without sounding doom and gloom, honest, As much as Prosser is an improved player with us did he have offers elsehere? Did White Genuinly have offers elsewhere? I'm sure they must have done but personally haven't read or heard about it.
